DSBC Notices - 20th September 2026
Good morning and welcome to Sunday Morning Worship.
Following this morning’s worship, we will meet again here in the church at 12.15pm, for our September Church Meeting, which will include reports on Environment, Safeguarding, Property & Finance.
On Monday, Table Tennis & Games take place in the Hall from 10.30am - 12.30pm.
On Tuesday afternoon the Scrabble Club meets at 2.30pm in the Centre.
On Wednesday morning Toddlers meet in the lower hall at 9.45am.
On Saturday afternoon at Kingshill Baptist Church in Buckinghamshire, the Induction of Danny Smith as Minister in Training takes place at 3pm. Details can be found in the current church magazine and on the poster in the cafe.
Next Sunday we meet here in the church at 10.30am for our Harvest Sunday Morning Worship and Gift Day. Gift Day envelopes will be available in Church for the next 2 Sundays for your contributions. Information about the BMS Harvest gift day appeal, “Change Agents” of Sierra Leone can be seen on the posters in the vestibule and cafe.
Next Sunday afternoon we will meet in the Cross Street Café at 4pm for our September Church in the Café when our former member Danny Smith will share with us the story of his call to ministry. All are very welcome as we meet together over tea and cake. We will also be presenting Danny with a farewell card and gift following his 11 years of service as our Bookings Administrator.

Contributions towards the ongoing work of the church can be made via the Offering box and Card reader in the vestibule.
Church Car Park Permits for the next 12 month period, are now available to purchase with cash from Julia Plant.
