Would you like to have a look round the Church without having to come to a service? You can, on Saturday 11th September and Sunday 12th as part of the weekend programme by English Heritage to open buildings with historical or architectural interest to members of the general public who often don't see inside them. Google in Heritage Open Days, go to Events Directory and see the Church’s entry under Eastern region. You’ll see what else is on in St Albans there too. We’ll be open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 11th and from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday 12th. There will be an exhibition covering the history of the Church up to the present day, various handouts and friendly people on hand to show you round. Have a look in on your way from the Old Town Hall to Spicer Street Chapel (both places on the open list). You can get a cup of tea in the adjoining Cross Street Coffee Shop between 10.00am and 2.00pm on the Saturday.
