Following the latest Government restrictions we have made the decision to cancel this month’s Free Church Service at the Cathedral. As the restrictions will not be reviewed until the middle of February, there will also be no service in February. A decision will be made in due course about holding a service in March.… Read more >
Further to our update a few days ago, all our services in the immediate future will be on-line rather than in person in our building. There will be podcast services on 20th, 25th and 27th December and a Carol Service on Zoom at 6.30pm on Sunday 20th December.… Read more >
A lot has happened since our last update – we have been in lockdown for a few weeks and we now know that as from Wednesday 2nd December we will be in tier 2 of restrictions. This means a couple of things:
- we will be able to meet for Sunday worship in our building with effect from 6th December.
Following the Government’s new rules regarding places of worship and hospitality venues, we will not be holding services in our buildings for the next few weeks. We anticipate the next Sunday service will be on 6th December.
Our Cross Street Coffee Shop will be open on Wednesday 4th November, but will then be closed until opening again on Thursday 3rd … Read more >
We held our first post-lockdown Family Service last week and having experimented with how to balance the needs of lively children with maintaining a covid-safe environment, we will be holding our next Family Service on Sunday 15th November 2020 at 10.00am.
We are now meeting weekly and our service on Sunday 1st November will include the Lord’s Supper.
